The “Conservative” likable Mayor from Nashville who became Governor, appeared to be conservative and very “southern-like.” In his first time there wasn’t really much to complain about, but Tennessee Governor’s have a tendency to show themselves in their second and final term. Bredesen who is a pro-abortion Governor also supporting the continuation of the Planned Parenthood Funding, has something else he now needs to make an excuse for. His stance on Capital Punishment. Governor Bredesen has suspended all State Executions until the summer of 2008. U.S. District Judge Aleta Trauger ruled in September that Tennessee’s method of lethal injection is unconstitutional and ordered the state not to execute a death row inmate using that method. So instead of Governor Bredesen trying to compromise and remain “conservative” like he has so many believing he is. He could change the state’s lethal injection cocktail from a three-drug formula to a one-drug formula. But that’s not what Liberal Governor Phil Bredesen has in mind. It was long wondered if Phil Bredesen would be the VP choice for the Democrat Nominee, and he still may be so. But he has a little bit of competition going with Governor Bill Richardson. Good Morning Tennessee, Governor Bredesen has awaken to his true self.

Considering the methods of execution at the time the Constitution was written were firing squad and hanging, how can a lethal injection be unconstitutional? I’m sure the injection, and even electrocution, are less painful than hanging or bleeding to death.
